Perancangan Buku Ilustrasi Untuk Anak Mengenal Jajanan Tradisional Khas 5 Provinsi DKI Jakarta, Jawa Timur, Jawa Tengah, Bali, dan Jawa Barat

Traditional snacks, as one of the manifestations of Indonesia's culinary richness, play an important role in the social and economic life of the community, as well as serving as a vital means of preserving cultural values from generation to generation. This research employs a qualitative approach using design-based research (DBR) methodology. The qualitative approach is chosen because this study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the socio-cultural phenomena related to traditional snacks and children's visual preferences, which are difficult to measure quantitatively. The use of bright and contrasting color palettes, along with child-friendly typography, ensures that the information is easy to read and captures attention. Vibrant illustrations and cute characters help engage interest, while enjoyable narratives facilitate children's connections to local culture.
