Pengaruh struktur aset, ukuran perusahaan, pertumbuhan penjualan dan perputaran total aset terhadap struktur modal pada perusahaan makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia

This study aims to examine the effect of asset structure, company size, sales growth and total asset turnover on the capital structure of food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2015-2019 period. The independent variables in this study are Asset Structure, Firm Size, Sales growth and Total Asset Turnover. While the dependent variable in this study is the capital structure. Capital structure in this study is measured by the Debt Equity Ratio (DER). The population in this study were Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the 2015-2019 period. The sample selection was using purposive sampling method. The data used in this research is quantitative data obtained from www.idx.co.id. The research method used in this research is an associative quantitative approach. Data collection techniques with documentation techniques. The research data were analyzed by multiple regression analysis with SPSS 25. There were 10 food and beverage companies listed on the IDX which were used as research samples based on predetermined criteria. The results showed that the asset structure and total asset turnover had a significant influence on the capital structure. The variable size of the company and sales growth did not have a significant effect on the capital structure. There is a significant influence on the variable asset structure (X1), company size (X2) sales growth (X3) and asset turnover (X4) simultaneously affect the capital structure (Y) in the food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the IDX for the period 2015 - 2019. This is indicated by the statistical F value of 5.350 with a probability of 0.001. The probability is smaller than the significance level used, namely 5%. The coefficient of determination (R2) in this study was obtained at 0.262 or 26.2%, this shows that the ability of the independent variable to explain the variation in the dependent variable is 26,2%.
